When I saw Victor Webber as Cupid on the TV show Charmed, I knew he had to be a romance character. I just didn’t know who he would be. And then one day he came to me as Cooper Flannigan and I just loved him.

Then Candace showed up and I’d seen her in a Christmas romance movie, probably on Hallmark. And I just loved her and her painful backstory.

They stewed for a good while before the story actually came to me. The closer I got to finishing the book, the sadder I got. I did not want to let them go. At the same time I also wanted them out in the world giving people an escape and tugging their heartstrings.

Of course his father is proud of the write up in the top real estate magazine. Cooper hates the mention of it.

Cooper may be a rich guy but this is his favorite car. He bought it also as a way to irritate his father, who thinks the car is hideous.
